I'm Joseph "Ramabyte" Baker - graphic designer and website designer. I enjoy the challenge of creating something new, and I am passionate about answering "Who are you?," "Why do we need to know?," and "What are you doing?." I utilize new styles, new methods, and create designs that will adequately meet and surpass a designs' need.
Designing has been a lifelong passion of mine.Creating random collages in MS Paint, to the landscapes, logos, and creations that I make today has been an amazing journey. Everyday I love learning a new method, a thought pattern, or tool that could make my next design better. I have a diverse portfolio that features many different groups, events, as well as styles to create the right atmosphere. Simple logos, vivid posters, and dynamic websites are just a few things featured.
I used to work for Longwood University as a Technology Coordinator and utilize my design skills to aid many conferences, student organizations and my department to create designs to successfully brand the event or group to give a recognizable presence in the environment in which the design will be displayed.
I am now curentlly the web and graphic designer for the Virginia State Board of Elections. I am responsible for creating a completelly new website, voter registration cards, a new logo and other various graphic and web design elements that I am asked to assist with.
As a result, I am currentlly taking a step back from freelance in order to focus more on the SBE website and the upcoming elections.
