Facets of Diversity Logo

This logo was created for an advertising campaign for an upcoming presentation concerning the many facets of diversity. This logo is placed on tshirts, a website, business cards, and posters that publicize the talk. 

This logo in particular was a stuggle for me to design. I had the concept from an email of the creator of this concept, but I couldnt find a way to include all these items without taking away from the simple logo concept that I wanted to create. After an epiphany I decided to create each facet as a color. Not only just a color, but a transparent color that overlaps and showed that each facet works together.

This logo was created with a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The person was sketched in Illustrator, and the shapes and text were placed in Photoshop. This is a very simple logo, but beneath its simplicity is something very complicated.
